Leaving A Legacy

Did you know that more than 80% of Americans donate to nonprofits, but only 8% chose to continue their support through a bequest? By making bequests and other “planned gifts,” you can help your charity of choice and leave a legacy.

Planned Giving

There are many ways to make a planned gift. Designate Union Station Homeless Services as your beneficiary and continue to rebuild lives for years to come.

LEAVING A LEGACY

Noel Corngold

Noel Corngold, a Professor of Applied Physics, joined the Caltech community in 1966. During his 44-year career, he researched reactor theory and mathematical physics, produced many papers on the topic, taught and supervised numerous students and lectured at venues worldwide. His passion for physics and dedication to his students never left him.

Noel greatly admired Union Station Homeless Services’ work and honored us with his first gift of $15 in 1986. Over the years, the Corngold family has shared not only monetary donations but also the talents of Noel’s son, Jordan, who serves on our Board of Directors. We are deeply grateful and humbled by Noel’s gifts.

Thank you to our Legacy Society Members!

Whether they have passed on or are living, the members of our Legacy Society have made their mark. Because of their love of life and concern for others, their memories will never be extinguished – and their gifts will remind us all that we, too, can make a difference in the lives that follow.
