Dinner in the Park
Thank you to everyone who helped make this year’s Dinner in the Park such a meaningful event for our community. Together, we served 8,000 meals, a significant increase from last year’s 6,000.
Actor Dulé Hill volunteers at Dinner at the Park
Dinner in the Park is one of USHS’s longest-standing traditions, and it continues to thrive because of the dedication of our volunteers. With nearly 400 volunteers supporting donation intake, meal preparation, setup, and distribution, this multi-day event ran with both efficiency and heart.
We were grateful for the support of local officials, including Congresswoman Laura Friedman, Mayor Victor Gordo, Councilmember Jason Lyon, Housing Assistance Officer Anne Lansing, Pasadena Housing Director Jim Wong, Assembly Member Mike Fong, and Senator Sasha Renée Pérez.
The day was also brightened by appearances from familiar faces such as Kathy Baker, Greta Lee, and Mamie Gummer, who stopped by to lend their support and spend time with guests. Actors Dulé Hill, Adina Porter, Cara Jade Meyers, and Katy O’Brien showed their support with our friends from Feeding America.
We also extend our heartfelt thank you to The Green Foundation, whose generous partnership played a key role in bringing this year’s Dinner in the Park to life. Their support helped strengthen this long-standing community tradition.
Special thanks to Justice Law Group, Whitter Trust, Bigo Live, and the Kardashian Jenner Family for their generous support.
